Developer Relations Activity Patterns

This one was born originally of the patterns I wrote on the blog. Then, after a few nudges, I was persuaded to expand on them and turn them into a book, but it turned into more work than I was able to handle at the time, and I asked Woody and Scott, both of whom worked with me on DevRel teams in the past, to jump in. Then we realized we needed not only a fourth perspective, but a bunch of cool art, David joined, and our little band was complete.

In this book, you're not going to find step-by-step instructions on how to build a DevRel program; instead, you're going to find a pattern language--that is to say, a patterns catalog--of the different activities that a DevRel team undertakes, which you can use as a reference, inspiration, or even a refresher on how you want to engage with your developer community. It's not a large audience we're writing for, but we're hopeful that the audience that does read it will find it a useful reference for their shelf.
